Join the WA Landcare Network!
We would love you to join our network of passionate, like-hearted environmental stewards.
We represent a network of diverse Landcarers from across the state doing a variety of important activities intimately intertwined with our iconic bushland, wetlands, waterways and coastline.
As the peak body here in WA, we provide members and the sector more broadly with a space for connection, to facilitate conversation, knowledge and experience sharing and capacity building. We provide:
- Knowledge surrounding scientific best practice,
- Help with governance,
- Access to funding and funding bodies,
- Exploration of relevant policy and pressing topics in the Landcare space, as well as contact with Politicians through our events,
- Workshops on utilisation of new technology for Landcarers,
- Upskilling for key biosecurity concerns facing Landcare groups.
As the peak body WALN advocates for its members at a state level and at a national level through membership of the National Landcare Network. By growing the Landcare movement in WA particularly, but also nationally, we increase community Landcare’s profile as a keystone of the restoration economy.
