Carrie Taylor | Committee member

Carrie grew up on a sheep and cereal grain farm in Lake Grace, where her interest in agriculture and passion for the natural world developed. Carrie moved to Perth to study a Bachelor of Science (Conservation and Wildlife Biology), followed by a Graduate Certificate in Environmental Assessment and Management, and most recently a Graduate Certificate in Regenerative Agriculture.

Prior to joining Perth NRM as a Sustainable Agriculture Program Officer in 2024, Carrie worked as a Natural Resource Management Project Officer at Fitzgerald Biosphere Group. Her experience has offered her a broad perspective on the intersection of agriculture, the environment, people, and the broad, systemic factors that influence how natural assets are managed. Carrie is committed to engaging with producers, land managers, and the wider community to promote practices that build environmental stewardship and regenerate natural capital.
